Loft clearance checklist: what to do before we arrive

Most lofts take us under two hours to clear. A little preparation makes it even quicker and makes sure nothing you want to keep goes in the van.

Before we arrive

• Mark or move anything you want to keep, such as photos, paperwork and decorations.
• Tell us about access: fixed ladder, hatch size, lighting and boarding.
• Mention anything awkward, such as old paint, gas bottles or loose insulation.
• Clear a path on the landing so we can carry items down safely.
• Add the garage or spare room to the same quote if they need clearing too.

What we take

Boxes, suitcases, toys, old furniture, Christmas decorations, carpets and general household items. Fridges, mattresses and TVs carry a small extra charge for specialist disposal, confirmed in your quote.

How much it costs

• Small Load, 2 cubic yards
• Medium Load, 4 cubic yards
• Large Load, 6 cubic yards
